Kill City Creeps Headline The Vanguard

Kill City Creeps will play their reuniting headline show at The Vanguard on Saturday the 11th of August, celebrating the return of their notorious keys player Nina B who has been off exploring the globe. This show will be their first headline gig since their packed house show at Spectrum. The Creeps will be joined on stage by energetic supports Peep Tempel (Melbourne) and The Harlots (Melbourne) who are both enjoying recent radio success.

The first single from their 5-tracker release ‘I Got A Letter’ first hit the airwaves in late 2011 receiving airplay on triple j and community radio stations throughout Australia. They have since won a legion of fans on their support slots for The Damned in January this year and in April supporting the 5, 6, 7, 8's.

Melbourne’s Peep Tempel’s distinctive sound has stolen airplay across the country with their debut, self-titled LP. Their live show is a blast of frenetic energy. Concise, authoritative and marked by percussive precision, angular riffs and raw power – the band certainly makes up in dynamism what it lacks in subtlety.

Also hailing from the shores of Melbourne The Harlots continue the lively line up. They have perfected their sound after four line-up changes and released their debut, self-titled LP with acclaimed single ‘Lady Maria’. Their tight, energetic, indie rock will get you dancing to kick off the night.

The Kill City Creeps are somewhat reminiscent of late 60s psychedelia and 70s glam, the sound has taken on an unhinged, scuzzy demeanor that will guarantee fans hungry for more.
