When vocalist Damion Page [Avalon Drive] paired up with guitarist Kevin Leggett in 2009, the Brisbane duo had no idea that this was the journey they would in fact take.
Coming from varied music backgrounds, Damion being ":Avalon Drive's" former frontman and many years of experience in the industry, the two experimented with different sounds and
acoustics to create the original and organic sound of ‘Words Versing Verses’.

“All of our old things, all of our roots have brought us to doing what we are doing now. We haven’t just abandoned everything. We’ve just kind of moved on from it and taken what
we’ve learnt.
I think this is more of a release for us.” - Damion Page After already playing one sold out show in Brisbane, Words Versing Verses are keen to hit
the stage for a second time in as many months.
Their live is definitely one not to be missed moving away from a typical acoustic show incorporating strings, piano and
percussion.
As the previous success of each member proves, Words Versing Verses have an unlimited amount of talent and potential and with the recent release of their debut EP and a national tour in the works the duo is in full swing.
With that being said, it is with great pleasure that Miss Daisy Music present Words Versing Verses at The Zoo, August 12th 2010. Supports include Brisbane indie/pop quartet My
Cassidy, Capensis and new comers, Cold and Need.
In conjunction to the show, Noise Magazine will also be launching in Brisbane on this date. To celebrate, there will be a limited number of magazine given away at the show and a
chance for punters to subscribe to the online publication for free.
