Newcastle, prepare! After sending Steel City crowds into a frenzy late last year, Kill City Creeps return to Newcastle on Saturday February 25 to headline a free show at the Great Northern Hotel.
The announcement of the Newcastle show comes on the back of the news that The Creeps will play a headline show on Friday February 17 at Spectrum in Sydney, with support from two of Sydney’s best burgeoning acts, Mother and Son and The Ghosts.
Kill City Creeps rocked audiences when they opened for The Damned in Melbourne and Sydney last month. Hungry for more than the 30 minute set could offer, punters flooded the merch desk after the shows to buy copies of The Creep’s 5 tracker CD. Having won over a whole new legion of fans, including The Damned themselves, it’s fair to say that Kill City Creeps are hitting this year front on. And that, as they say, is just the beginning….

What The Kill City Creeps have given birth to is entirely apart from anything that has come before…theirs’ is a sound, a look, a language, and an attitude to and of itself. While somewhat reminiscent of late 60s psychedelia and 70s glam, the sound has taken on an unhinged, scuzzy demeanor that is very much parentless.
