MAJOR RAISER INVITE YOU TO PARTY WITH A PURPOSE
Who would have thought that dancing to the country’s hottest new bands near the shores of one of the world’s most magnificent beaches, with a beer in hand could be considered charity?

Innovative youth charity organisation Major Raiser are back once again, maintaining their unique manifesto of Partying with a Purpose. As a not-for-profit organisation founded by 24-year-old Dominic Greenwood, Major Raiser uses live music as a vessel for fundraising and connecting young people with causes that matter.
The fourth event of its kind, Major Raiser will take over iconic Bondi watering-hole, Beach Road Hotel on 5 May, welcoming young Sydney-siders to make the choice to party, as they do every Saturday night. The difference with Major Raiser events is that partygoers are able to walk away knowing they’ve made a valuable contribution to someone less fortunate.
This time around, all profits will go to the Music Outback Foundation - an organisation that is committed to providing musical instruments to schools in our outback, creating equal rights for Indigenous children to have the same opportunities for cultural expression as mainstream Australians.
The line up includes Brisbane dance fiends, Mitzi as well as Triple J sweethearts, Glass Towers, Toucan, Colour Coding, Conics and Lancelot, plus more to be announced. Thanks to these bands, you can also download their tunes on the Major Raiser compilation, Let’s Band Together, of which all contributions go the Music Outback Foundation. Head to majorraiser.bandcamp.com.
Special thanks go to the owners of the Beach Road Hotel and their friends at Coopers Beer who will be providing a FREE beer to each person who buys their ticket pre-sale. In addition, Moshtix will be donating $1 from the booking fee of every pre-sale ticket to Major Raiser.
