North West Festival announces more acts 

Having recently announced the first annual North West Festival, set to take over the heart of the Pilbara Region, Port Hedland, Sunset Events are thrilled to be adding two amazing bands to the bill. Joining the Hilltop Hoods at the Port Hedland Turf Club on Saturday 18th August are The Living End and The Cat Empire.

The Living End are quite simply one of Australia's greatest living rock bands. The infamous trio of Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan (who replaced Travis Dempsey in 2002) have released six classic albums, two of which have gone to number 1 on the ARIA charts. They have won countless awards including ARIA’s, APRA’s and Jack’s and hold the record for the most consecutive entries in triple j’s Hottest 100, making the cut every year from 1997 – 2006.

Hold onto your glow sticks - the wait is finally over. Brisbane’s Red Deer Music Festival has returned with a vengeance and will this year headline with iconic shock-pop indie-rock band Regurgitator and Australia’s best loved folk angel Clare Bowditch.

Now in its third year, the vibrant grass-roots music festival will well and truly “up the anti” when on September 1st it brings to the stage a caliber of musicians never before seen in the festival’s young history.

The Groovin’ the Moo (GTM) tour bus has already proven to be a huge success in Bendigo and Townsville as it rolled into those towns last weekend. The Townsville leg on Sunday sold out the day prior with fans enjoying a sun drenched day with astounding performances from a hot line up of international and local acts.

This weekend the GTM bus pulls into a sold-out Maitland on Saturday and Canberra on Sunday, it will make its final stop in Bunbury next Saturday May 19th for the last leg of the tour. Cattleyard Promotions in conjunction with Sunset Events are thrilled to announce GTM Bunbury to be held at Hay Park on Saturday May 19th has now sold out!

Creamfields 2012 Update..

The promoters would like to confirm, that in Melbourne, all Creamfields stages (with over 4 indoor rooms & the Grand Pavilion), will be under cover.  Ponchos will be available for sale at all shows if required.
