ALAN BOYLE is an Irish singer-songwriter who now calls Australia home.
He’s been busy building a reputation as a powerful live performer on the local scene with notable appearances at the Woodford Folk Festival, Greenfest ’08 and last year’s Queensland Multicultural Festival, and supported DRAGON and WENDY MATTHEWS on their respective SE QLD tours.
His second EP OXYGEN is a dense and emotive work, drawing on his rich celtic musical heritage, incisive lyricism and a unique vocal style. Over a year in the making, the record features lush instrumental touches from musical guests Emma Dean and Shannon Booyens, and is set for release this June.
